Job description

We are looking for a Scientific Project Manager who loves to understand the complex problems of our customers and to help them accelerate the discovery of new drugs to combat deadly and debilitating diseases. This is a unique opportunity to combine creativity and business sense at the intersection of project management, biology and computer science. The opening is for a position with a contract of either 32 or 40 working hours per week. We’re looking for someone who is excited about drug discovery and enjoys working together with lab scientists, bioinformaticians and software developers.

Your mission

  • You will engage in scientific discussions with our customers, understand their needs and, together with our other disciplines, create a solution that customers love.

  • You will write detailed project proposals, describing resources, timelines and deliverables of a project.

  • You will be responsible for managing projects from start to end, which involves tracking progress and adjusting resources where needed.

Job requirements

You should have:

  • A Master’s degree, PhD or equivalent experience in Bioinformatics, Immunology or Molecular Biology.

  • In-depth knowledge of biological concepts related to antibody/drug discovery, immunology and sequencing.

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a Project Manager.

  • Good organizational and time management skills.

  • Pro-active attitude.

  • Strong critical thinking skills, and a problem-solving attitude.

  • Experience with multidisciplinary collaborations with e.g., Software Engineers, Scientific Experts, Marketing and Sales Executives.

  • Basic knowledge of software development processes.

  • A clear customer-first approach, while considering the bigger picture.

  • A passion for translating the needs of drug developers into products that they love.
