We are looking for a Bioinformatics Developer who loves combining cutting edge software engineering with an understanding of biology and immunology to solve concrete challenges in the drug development field. You will play an important role in translating customer challenges into robust bioinformatic pipelines, as well as support the development of our health-tech software platform. You’ll be taking ideas and turning them into applications, whilst maintaining high scientific and software engineering standards.
The opening is for a long-term position with a contract of either 32 or 40 working hours per week. We’re looking for someone who believes in our mission, enjoys being part of our young and dynamic team, and who can grow with us in the years to come.

Your Responsibilities
Translating drug development challenges into bioinformatics solutions for our customers.
Create (advanced) computational and bioinformatics methods with a strong focus on repertoire sequencing data and other immune-related data types.
Contribute to the data analysis of critical R&D projects in the field of biomedical science.
Job requirements
You should have:
Relevant Master’s degree or PhD (e.g. Bioinformatics, Biotechnology).
Strong critical thinking skills, and a problem-solving attitude.
Good communication skills.
Knowledge of biology
Excellent Python knowledge.
Experience working with (next-generation) sequencing data.
Experience working in a Linux environment.
Experience working with version control systems.
Experience using docker.
Nice to have:
Experience with SQL
Experience with Argo Workflows.
Experience working with immunological data.
Experience with machine and/or deep learning.
Experience with TypeScript and React.
Experience using Kubernetes clusters.
